Positive Futures – Over 50 Classes/Sessions

Are you over 50? Would you like to meet new people? Do you want to take part in exciting new activities? Groups are already running in Edinburgh and we would like to start some in the Braidwood Centre and around Dumbiedykes. You could join groups/start new ones, participating in or leading activities.

Dan Fuller from charity Libertus is looking to set up a variety of groups for residents’ who are Over 50.  It will be up to residents’ which groups run in the centre. Groups will be free to attend. Dan organises a number of groups at other centres. Groups such as knitting, bowling, arts and crafts, fitness, walking to name a few. Please call into the centre or contact Dan for more information.

018Braidwood Neighbourhood Centre is a community facility in the heart of Edinburgh. After a £250,000 facelift the Centre was reopened in April 2003 and is now available for hire from community and corporate groups, as well as individuals.030 Just two minutes from the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Mile, with gorgeous views to Salisbury Crags and a courtyard with access that backs on to Holyrood Park, the Braidwood Centre’s location makes it ideal for the use of both community organisations and businesses from the Southside/Royal Mile areas.
